MidlandHR Customer Association
The MidlandHR Customer Association (MCA) is an independent user group, formed to serve the needs of MidlandHR customers. Successful organisations listen to their customers, and MidlandHR ensures that this can be achieved through our collaboration with the MCA and customer community.
There is no doubt that the real strength of the MCA comes from the commitment of its members to the continuing development of expertise and the sharing of knowledge amongst the customer community.
The MCA aims to:
- Provide an independent voice for MidlandHR customers
- Provide a platform for members to contribute to the future direction of the product
- Provide a channel for MidlandHR to collaborate with customers
- Facilitate members networking and knowledge exchange
Set up in 1990, the MCA now have over 170 member organisations. They are the most influential body for feeding in to the future development of MidlandHR’s software and services.
Special Interest Groups
The MCA pursues its objectives through a committee and through special interest groups dealing with particular areas of interest within the subjects of human resource management and information technology. Activity groups are typically subject or sector based; bringing together decision makers and practitioners in HR, payroll and pensions administration from a broad variety of organisations.
Networking
The MCA offers an unrivalled networking opportunity. MCA conferences are regularly attended by over 250 delegates. Members have a unique chance to exchange experience and best practice with each other and MidlandHR, to ensure they are getting the best from MidlandHR’s software and services.
Endorsed by MidlandHR Senior Management
The MCA is endorsed by MidlandHR senior management, ensuring a very high profile. MCA conferences are attended by MidlandHR’s full senior management team and there is also director level MidlandHR representation on the MCA management committee.
Expertise
Whether it comes from MidlandHR or from an MCA member, the customer community has an unrivalled level of expertise. The MCA has an open approach to the sharing of information and expertise; ensuring members are able to get the answers to the issues affecting them and their organisation.
Product Development
Through the MCA, members can get actively involved in product development at an early stage and provide crucial feedback directly to MidlandHR. At MCA conferences members regularly receive presentations from MidlandHR’s product specialists regarding future product developments.
Events
The MCA currently holds a two day annual conference, which brings together MidlandHR customers and professionals under one roof. These events address the requirements of users on all platforms; i.e. iTrent, Trent 6 and Delphi Millennium. In addition to the conferences, there are now regional and sector groups developing which meet throughout the year covering a wide range of topics.
Independence
The MCA exists purely to serve the needs of its members. The MCA are proud of its collaboration and close links with MidlandHR, but the MCA is a truly independent voice that represents the MidlandHR customer community and raises topics on its behalf.
Membership
Any organisation that is a customer of MidlandHR can join the MCA. The MCA is an open organisation, which believes that the MidlandHR customer community can benefit by sharing their expertise and experience with one another. By joining the MCA, organisations will not only tap in to a wealth of knowledge, it will be able to play its part in shaping the technology of the future.
