ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Systems
The ISO 9001 standard, which was first introduced in 1987, is the international reference for quality management and is recognised in over 150 countries throughout the world. It defines best practice in managing the processes that create and control an organisation's products and services, and leads to benefits such as greater customer satisfaction, increased productivity, and improved product, process and service quality.
MidlandHR and ISO 9001
MidlandHR has shown continued commitment to ISO 9001 since attaining certification to ISO 9001:1994 in July 1995, and subsequently to ISO 9001:2000 in January 2003. The certification also includes compliance to the TickIT Scheme which is the software specific implementation of ISO 9001.
Jacques Lomas, Quality Manager at MidlandHR, describes the benefits of ISO 9001 to our clients :
Effective Quality Management Systems deliver far more than simply ensuring products and services are delivered on time and to specification. The ISO 9001 framework integrates fully with our other management systems so that performance of key business processes is continually monitored and any identified improvements or corrective actions are implemented in a controlled and timely manner."
