ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Systems
The ISO 9001 standard, which was first introduced in 1987, is the international reference for quality management and is recognised in over 150 countries throughout the world. It defines best practice in managing the processes that create and control an organisation's products and services, and leads to benefits such as greater customer satisfaction, increased productivity, and improved product, process and service quality.
MidlandHR and ISO 9001
MidlandHR has shown continued commitment to ISO 9001 since attaining certification to ISO 9001:1994 in July 1995, and subsequently to ISO 9001:2000 in January 2003. The certification also includes compliance to the TickIT Scheme which is the software specific implementation of ISO 9001.
Doug Kightley, Quality Manager at MidlandHR, describes the benefits of ISO 9001 to our clients :
"Quality Management is more than just getting things right. The ISO 9001 framework provides us with the means to continually monitor the performance of our business critical processes, to identify where process improvements can be made, and then to determine the effectiveness of those changes."
