London, UK 30 October 2007- Pay magazine held an awards ceremony celebrating excellence in payroll and HR at the Park Lane Hotel, Piccadilly. The evening was one of celebration for MidlandHR and our customers.
We presented an award as the proud sponsor of the ‘Public sector payroll team of the year’, judged upon practical examples and statistics demonstrating the winning team’s success. MidlandHR’s marketing director, Richard Thomas presented the trophy to the emerging winners of this category, the Crown Prosecution Service.
The Crown Prosecution Service, under the Law Officer’s department is a hosted customer of MidlandHR and as such we were more than delighted to present them with this prestigious accolade.
This followed the previous celebrations as Croydon Council was awarded first prize in the category of ‘Integrated HR and payroll team’. We are delighted in the success of our prized customer The London Borough of Croydon, supported in their HR and payroll function by an in house solution from MidlandHR.
Congratulations also to the Merseyside Fire and Rescue service, taking home the winner’s trophy for ‘Best Absence Management’. The fire service is a long-standing customer of MidlandHR and we are delighted to see their name up in lights at this year’s Pay Awards.
So congratulations to all involved in the Pay Awards as we show our appreciation in the ever exceeding value and service quality that the payroll and HR profession takes immense pride in.
